Meet the PrahJektz

The band is ever changing, ever evolving. What started out as a project where everything was produced by my own bare hands, the PrahJektz is morphing into a collective pool of talent ready to lend a hand when creativity strikes. I hope this list grows as time goes on. This page is for everyone that has made contributions to recordings . From Canada, California, Texas, the U.K. and beyond.

Chris Saffle

Head Honcho of Team PrahJektz. The leader of the band. The head ninja in charge. Chris is the writer, singer, and keyboardist. With musical influences spanning from Devo to AC/DC, you never know what you will get out of a new PrahJektz recording. The PrahJektz was built upon an idea of being able to flow seamlessly from genre to genre, going in any musical direction that it so pleases. From Swamp Blues, to Techno, to Indie Rock, each album is it's own entity. The mixture would make a great live show, huh? Don't mess with Texas......

Eric Saffle

My nephew. A self taught musical wizard. The Gandalf of Rock and Roll. Watching him move from instrument to instrument effortlessly is 2/3's awe, 1/3rd amazement,  and 1/3rd jealous hate. You read that right. 4/3rds. He is that good. Eric played on the track "Royal Flush" on Tales of Lust, Sorrow, and Revenge! He is also found destroying a cover of Adam and the Ants "Physical", which can be found on the upcoming the PrahJektz: UNDERCOVER album..Operates in the shadows of Grapevine, TX.

Derek Barlas

Meet my new guitarist and collaborator! Derek hails from crisp, clean, and cold Canada! Met Derek through Kompoz.com, and it was an instant connection. He added guitars to a new track called "When I'm Not Home". When he sent them to me, I knew I had my guy. God willing, all future collabs will involve Mr. Barlas! Great to have you aboard.

Lori Martin

I almost played a very, very short stint in a band many years ago with Lori. Did I say very short? Did I say almost? Lori is not only the Goddess of Bass, but is also a great singer and writer. Why she is wasting time adding basslines to PrahJektz tracks is the Eighth Wonder of the World. I asked her. She said yes. Chloroform was not  even needed! Score! PrahJektz Headquarters is definitely a cooler place with Lori around. Oh yeah. A fellow Texan as well.

Rachael O'Hara

I met Rachael on Soundcloud, when she was writing songs with the infamous Ian Wall, of the UK's Among the Echoes. I knew I had to get her voice on one of my tracks, so I wrote Masochistic Love Song and sent it her way. She blew me away with what she sent back. She is a big reason Masochistic Love Song is the most requested and loved PrahJektz song to date. You can find it, and her, on the new release PrahJEKTOR!

Chris Oakes

Another friendship cultivated on Soundcloud. Chris, Founder of the Strummer Room Project, is a music promoter, musician, DJ, and all around good guy. When not recording punk tracks, he is helping up and coming bands get seen. A true fighter for the cause. My first handful of collabs were with Chris. Chris ended up contributing the music for Thru The Night, guitar work for Bleed You, and guitar and bass on Gonna' Be A Hangin' on Tales of Lust, Sorrow, and Revenge! Time for a new collab......

Adrian Clark

Deep within the recesses of www.kompoz.com lurked a guitar beast named Adro81. He came out of the shadows to supply a red hot solo, along with other key guitar work for "When I'm Not Home". I find myself humming that very solo, and that is the trademark of a job well done. I hope the fact that he is from Sacremento, CA and probably not a Dallas Cowboys fan doesn't get in the way of a future musical friendship. The PrahJektz needs him........he's our only hope.
